Raphael roman, esq.

Raphael has over a decade of experience in commercial real estate in the New England Area, representing banks and other lenders in every type of transaction. He also represents lenders and Certified Development Companies (“CDC’s”) in U.S. Small Business Administration backed 504 and 7(a) loans. Raphael is one of the very few SBA 504 Designated Attorneys in the New England area, and is licensed to practice law in New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, Florida and Alabama.

Before graduating from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, Raphael was a co-owner of a local sports business as well as a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley. Over the years, he has been able use his eclectic background to successfully work with local and national commercial lenders, individuals and businesses on over 1,000 commercial transactions.




Mary Driscoll, Esq.

With more than 30 years of experience, Mary has created a well-respected reputation for herself throughout her native Portsmouth, NH, and the surrounding Seacoast area.

After receiving her law degree from the University of Denver, Mary entered private practice. Later on, she founded Signature Title, a successful title company focused on residential closings. After selling the company, she stayed on for a couple of years as president.

In 2006, Mary started Fleet Street Settlement to focus on representing individual and business buyers and sellers, real estate developers and commercial lenders in various types of transactions.

Throughout her career, Mary has earned the respect of her peers and clients for her knowledge, professionalism and her ability to assess complex commercial issues. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys running, snowboarding, reading and spending time with her family (including two adorable goldendoodles!).



Caryn has been with Fleet Street Settlement since 2009 and has over 25 years of legal experience as a real estate paralegal from examining titles to supervising and closing multi-million dollar transactions. Her breadth of knowledge and background enhance the firm’s position of competently and efficiently servicing our clients.



Diane has been a paralegal in the Seacoast for over 20 years and has extensive experience in business and corporate law as well as real estate. Prior to joining us she was the senior real estate paralegal for a local law firm.  Diane's experience, enthusiasm and attention to detail contribute to our firm’s success in providing the highest quality work product and exceptional customer service.
